Obtained Inheritance In Christ
Obtained Inheritance In Christ
The Father has created us in Christ Jesus to do good works that He predestined to be
done in this time. That makes us a people of destiny. The works He has predestined for
this hour are so amazing that He had to create a spiritual people to do them. A natural
man knows nothing about them.
Being predestined by God, we have obtained an inheritance in Christ Jesus. That makes
us a people of destiny who is created for this time. We are the light of the world.
I have been walking with Christ for 46 years to date; I am now 77 years old. I was praying
and talking with Him about some things that He has assigned me to do. I commented that
I was getting older. That was not the right perspective for me to have. He responded, “Yes
but your Inheritance is not.”
As God’s children we have obtained an Inheritance in Christ Jesus, that is – “incorruptible,
undefiled, and does not fade away.” To fade away means to get old, dim and weak. Our
inheritance in Christ, God’s covenant promises, do not get old, weak or dim because Christ
is Alive. He is Eternal and His Word never changes. He maintains our inheritance and He
keeps us by the Power of God. (1Pet 1:4, 3-5)
He is the Resurrection. We don’t have to wait until the last day. Not only is He still doing what
He did when He walked as the son of man, but He is also doing today what He will do at the last
day. That is what He said! He cannot lie! Do we believe what He says to us? If we do, He said
we will see the Glory of God! (Jn 11:22-27, 39-40)
Stop putting off until tomorrow what God has promised and Christ is here to do. Let go of
whatever is stopping you from being made whole. It doesn’t matter what it is or how long
You have had it. Believe! Receive! And thank Him for His Love, His goodness and His
faithfulness. Christ Jesus, our Covenant Friend, “is upholding all things by the Word of His
Power.” Heb 1:3
Tap into the Power of God for your life. Run your race. Finish Your course. Finish strong,
whole and satisfied, by the Glory of Christ and to the Glory of God!
